The Kent 11+ Is Changing!

New Provider. New Developments. The Same MLC Commitment.

Kent County Council has announced that Quest Assessments will replace GL Assessment as the provider of the Kent Test.

Understandably, parents may have questions about what this means for future grammar school preparation.

At Maidstone Learning Centre, we are keeping a close eye on developments and reviewing our curriculum, learning resources and assessment methods.

We are particularly interested in strengthening children’s ability to reason independently, apply their knowledge and tackle unfamiliar questions with confidence.

Coming Soon: MLC Hybrid 11+ Academy

We are exploring an enhanced programme combining our established face-to-face tuition with online practice and personalised academic monitoring.

We believe technology has an important role in education — but it should support excellent teaching, not replace it.

Miss George’s Thought for the Fortnight

“A clever computer can tell you that your answer is wrong. A great teacher can help you understand why — and make sure you don’t make the same mistake again!”

We’ll continue sharing updates as further details about the new Kent Test become available.
